Pimping out my Jackson Cuda 14

The below slides show my custom color Jackson Cuda with the factory black 1/4″ Bungee. Over time the bungee becomes brittle and needs to be replaced. Instead of using the black bungee you may opt for a color bungee to pimp out your kayak!

The slides below  show the result of the replacement. The tank well will require around 10 feet of 1/4″ bungee chord. The front rod tip protector will require 24″ of 3/16″.

Completed it does make the boat pop! You can order the colored bungee in different colors and lengths from Hook1 or ebay.

See below for a Color Chart which displays Jackson Kayaks 2015 Standard Colors and also colors that may be used to create your own custom color. Custom colors comes with an up charge. Please know that mixing some colors does come out different than they would seem to. See your local Jackson Kayak Dealer to order. 

Those that know me or have seen my kayak over the past 2 years have seen the Yak Chum name on my Cuda 14. This adds a personal touch like most boat captains. Both as an online screen name and a VHF radio handle. The New Cuda will have a new design. I have been looking through thousands of font types online and man there are so many cool ones! Being that my new Cuda is bright yellow/green/black im thinking of having the decal color be purple.

This is what happens during the long winters that are tough to get out and fish. I do enjoy making my own graphics as well!
