Starting a new Kayak Wars Kayak Fishing Team for 2014! Fish Stix!!!!
A total of 19 volunteers for the Heroes On The Water New Jersey Chapter were again volunteering their time this past Sunday in the name of Life Saving! Special thanks to John Bome HOW volunteer and Doug Small members of Laborers Union Local 172 for their time and knowledge as they instructed the four hour hands on class. In all its was a great time to see everyone again and to start the new year off right being certified in important life saving tactics.!
I have put in my order for the new Jackson Big Rig. This giant fishing platform looks awesome. I hope it is good in the wind. I did order the boat with a rudder package. It may end up with a torquedo on the stern. The boat has been said to paddle well on freshwater lakes and rivers. I will be the one putting it to the test in the salty back bays of New Jersey. At 92 lbs the boat is a beast. Due to the width at 37″ the stability must be phenomenal.
